WHO IS LINDA P. TAYLOR?
My articles can be found in the ParentGuide of Tampa Bay and the Wall Street Journal. I hosted my own radio show on KKZZ AM1400 and its sister station KVTA AM 1520. I have also been blessed to be a frequent guest on television and other radio shows throughout the country. I even shared the stage with Bruce Boxleitner for an interview on College Secrets!
I am the President of Taylor Marketing & Management. This is a team of marketing and small business experts who provide consulting services nationwide on cutting edge success strategies including social media like LinkedIn (where you can see my detailed resume), FaceBook, Twitter, Youtube, and eMail autoresponders. As a demonstration of the power of branding, typing LindaPTaylor in just about any social media search box will find me!
I am also on a personal crusade against abuses in the college scholarship "industry". I have spent nearly 30 years helping families find and pay for college - 10 of those years full-time! I am an outpsoken critic on what I call the "dirty little secrets" of college scholarships such as using scholarships to harvest data for marketing and resale and taxes on unqualified scholarships! I was so frustrated with the lack of honesty over scholarships I wrote my . . .77 Insider Secrets to Scoring Scholarship to teach families how to find the most money possible in scholarships safely and successfully!
I have been sharing my expertise in numerous journals such as US News & World Report, Financial Planning Magazine, Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money Magazine, and Newsweek and in daily newspapers like the LA Times and Santa Barbara NewsPress. I have linked to some of them below.
I am available for speaking engagements and at last count, I have given over 1,783 seminars nationwide for groups as varied as the Future Collegiates World Tour for Junior Golfers to Lion's Club and trade associations like the National Association of Women in Construction.
Here is just a sampling of articles & interviews where I was quoted and/or featured. . .
